This year’s Plant Sale will be on Saturday May 11, 2024, at the Boonton Township Municipal Building from 8 am – noon.
This annual fundraiser goes toward contributions to local food banks and to scholarships to students pursuing horticulture and environmental conservation.
We pride ourselves on offering a large selection of native perennials that will thrive in northern New Jersey landscapes. We hope you love your plants as much as we do and that you will tell others about our sale.

What Our Members Say
“I have been an active member since 1974. I made lifelong friends who teach me and inspire me everyday. Quite simply, being part of the Rockaway Valley Garden Club has been one of the greatest joys of my life.”
“Being new to the area, I was seeking people who enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities. I found a wonderful group of individuals who welcomed me warmly.”
“From the first meeting I attended many years ago, fellow members opened my eyes to the beauty that surrounds us. For example, I learned that the early spring blooming tree along our wood edges is called the Shadbush because the blooming time coincides with the shad running in the Hudson River. That’s a pretty neat bit of information.”
“I joined to gain the wisdom of those who have come before.”
